Data Sharing and Code Availability Policy

Data Sharing Policy

JPAIR Multidisciplinary Research encourages transparency, reproducibility, and responsible research practices through appropriate data sharing and preservation. Authors are strongly encouraged to:

  • Deposit underlying data in recognized repositories such as Figshare, Zenodo, Dryad, or OSF
  • Provide a Data Availability Statement in the manuscript
  • Make data available upon reasonable request at a minimum
  • Retain raw data for at least five years after publication

Data sharing improves research transparency, promotes scholarly collaboration, and enhances the reproducibility and credibility of published findings.

Data Availability Statement Options

Authors should include one of the following Data Availability Statements in their manuscript:

Statement Type Example
Data Available The data supporting this study are openly available in a repository and accessible through a DOI or URL.
Data on Request The data supporting this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.
Data Not Available The data are not publicly available due to privacy, confidentiality, or ethical restrictions.
No New Data No new data were created or analyzed in this study.

Code and Software

Authors using custom software, scripts, algorithms, or code in their research are encouraged to ensure transparency and reproducibility by making these materials accessible whenever possible.

Authors using custom software or code should:

  • Deposit code in a repository such as GitHub or Zenodo
  • Provide version information and access instructions
  • Include appropriate licensing information

The journal encourages responsible and ethical sharing of research data, code, and software while respecting privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property rights, and applicable legal or institutional restrictions.
